"Lisey's Story" by Stephen King
This was my second reading of this King novel. second copy too. Approaching last Christmas, mother asked what I wanted for perhaps the tenth time and I finally said "and Stephen King novel less than ten years old". This one isn't and, yes, I've read it. It's still great.
Lisey has lived through losing a husband for a few years but she is pushed into fighting for and providing her own life when events transpire in the process of this novel. It feels rather as a culmination but as King puts it at the end "it was inspires by a dream he had a few years ago". That's what the human mind can do I suppose.
I would read this a third time.
